Benton and Franklin Counties enjoy strong K-12 systems, Columbia Basin College and Washington State University Tri-Cities. This category contains measures of educational quality and outcomes of the various parts of the education continuum. Due to the unique population mix of the two counties, some attention is paid to the success of English language learners. Rounding out the set of indicators are measures of educational attainment by the general population. Nearly all these indicators are benchmarked to the state and many to the U.S.
A full definition of each indicator, as well as its relevance to the two counties, can be found in the More Information section. The data are available in a spreadsheet via the Download Data tab.
